1) Who We Are
SpyLibrary (“we”, “us”) provides a SaaS platform and Chrome extension for analyzing public ads. Contact: contact@spylibrary.com
2) Data We Collect
- Account Data: email, password hash, subscription status, support communications.
- Usage Data: IP (truncated/anonymized where possible), device/browser info, timestamps, feature usage.
- Extension Data: public ad info you choose to save (ad metadata, public media URLs, landing page links, detected domain type like Shopify/WordPress).
- Payment Data: handled by payment processors; we receive limited billing status (no full card details).
- Cookies/Storage: session, security, and basic analytics. No third‑party ad tracking.
3) Legal Bases (GDPR)
- Contract: to provide the Service you requested.
- Legitimate Interests: securing the Service, preventing abuse, improving features.
- Consent: optional features (e.g., certain notifications or analytics).
- Legal Obligation: tax/accounting, responding to lawful requests.
4) How We Use Data
- Authenticate users and operate core features (save, download, follow pages, alerts).
- Detect fraud/abuse and enforce the AUP.
- Improve reliability, performance, and UX (aggregate/anonymous analytics).
- Communicate service notices and account emails.
5) Sharing
- Processors: hosting, email, payments—bound by contracts and limited to what’s needed.
- Legal: if required by law or to protect our rights/users.
- Business Transfers: in a merger/acquisition, with safeguards.
- We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with Facebook/Meta.
6) International Transfers
If data leaves the EEA/UK, we use safeguards like Standard Contractual Clauses where needed.
7) Retention
- Account data: for your subscription + a reasonable period for legal/backup purposes.
- Logs: short retention unless needed for security/investigations.
- You can request deletion; we’ll remove non‑required data subject to legal holds.

Access controls, encryption in transit, least‑privilege. No system is 100% secure; use at your own risk.
9) Your Rights (EEA/UK)
- Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

10) Children
Not for under‑13s. We don’t knowingly collect children’s data.
